Lactulose, a synthetic sugar made from galactose and fructose, works in the small intestine by drawing water into the stool. This softens the stool, promotes defecation, and relieves constipation.
Directions to use
Adults: Initial start with 15 mL (approximately 3 teaspoon) twice daily.
